For bespoke orders a non-refundable deposit of 30% with your order will be required in order for production to proceed. When the order is ready for despatch you will receive an email notifying you of the balance due. Goods will be despatched within 3 days of the full payment received and a further email sent to notify you of despatch. Packaging and delivery will be calculated depending on the size and weight of the order and will be agreed by email prior to the acceptance of your order.

Currently payment options are Paypal or bank transfer payments. All prices quoted are in GB pounds sterling.

We are not responsible for import duties you might be liable to, depending on your home country’s import laws.

If the balance due is unpaid after 14 days from email notification, the goods remain the property of Woven In the Bone and may be sold elsewhere.

Price changes

Quoted prices shall be valid for one month only, unless otherwise agreed by Woven In The Bone in writing.

Bespoke design and colour matching

Although every effort is made to ensure colours correspond to those in any sample presentations, due to the nature of the product supplied, minor variations can occur between batches and/or deliveries.

CAD (computer aided design) simulations will be sent via email and wrappings and/or yarn samples will be sent by mail to show proposed colours or colour options. Care is taken to ensure colour matching from yarn to CAD simulation is as accurate as possible, however variations due to each individual’s perceptions of colour and also the differences in computer or device screen representation can occur. CAD simulations are intended to provide Customers with a tool to visualize options of weave structure, patterns, scale and proportion and an aid towards the visualisation of colour combinations, rather than an identical reproduction of the proposed cloth.

A handloom sample of approx. A4 size can be made where accurate colour selection is required. However this incurs a Sampling Fee payable in advance.

A Bespoke Design Sample Approval form will be prepared and acceptance of Terms must be agreed in writing prior to production of the order.

Lead times and delivery

All orders are considered individually depending on the nature, complexity and quantity involved. An estimated lead time will be provided with the order confirmation. Delivery will be by  courier service. Depending on the delivery service selected please note a signature may be required on delivery.

Allowances

We make every effort to ensure that the cloth we produce is of the highest quality and all cloth is inspected before dispatch. Due to the nature of the product it is possible that some flaws may occur which cannot be mended. Cloth will be supplied with any flaws tagged and an industry standard allowance provided. Allowances are given as 0.2m per horizontal flaw and flaw length for vertical flaws.

Claims

All cloth is carefully inspected prior to despatch. The buyer should also inspect carefully all items at time of receiving the goods. Claims for damage must be notified to Woven In The Bone within five days and written notification received within seven days. Failure to make such claims within the specified time constitutes acceptance of the merchandise and quality thereof. Woven In the Bone does not accept claims for damage resulting from storage by the buyer and for damage resulting from accident, alteration or misuse after delivery.
